Mokelumne River was the first area in Lodi to be planted with vines and it includes some 130-year-old Zinfandel vineyards. These older vines produce wines with distinctive black cherry and dark fruit flavors which are unique to the region. Our 2020 Heritage Old Vine Rous Vineyard Zinfandel shows the sumptuous strawberry character that Zinfandel is known for. Well balanced and fresh, with a touch of vanilla and light toast, make for a very special glass of wine. Enjoy now or cellar for 5 to 7 years.
