Lively on the nose, aromas of fresh violet petals and spices give way to a mouthwatering palate of ripe blackberry, raspberry, anise, and toffee brittle. Vibrant acidity and a bright, juicy finish. With our Barbera try rich dark meats, mushrooms, herbs, herbaceous cheeses like blue cheese, higher tannin foods like root vegetables & braised greens. The idea here is that the bright acidity in the wine will make a rich fatty or high tannin dish complete.

This is a wonderful example of Calaveras Cabernet. Fruit forward on the nose, with multiple layers of deep berry fruit in the middle & rolls over the palate with soft tannins.
Our 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a unique wine from Calaveras County. On the nose you are greeted with aromas of blackberry and toast. Rich flavors follow, with blackberry currant and notes of olives, herbs and toasty oak. Pair this wine with full-bodied foods such as a grilled steak or portabella mushroom.
